Arthur Koteng is a Nuclear Regulator and holds the position of Deputy Chief Radiation Protection Officer with the Radiation Protection Board at Kenya’s Ministry of Public Health. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree (physics Major) from the University of Nairobi and an MSc (Radiation and Environmental protection) from University of Surrey, UK.
He has achieved a lot in his field having participated in Nuclear Security between 2004 and 2008, regulatory infrastructure which runs from 2009 to 2013 and is the National Officer, International Nuclear event scale. His experience as a nuclear regulator informs the work of the ACF technical committee which is inspired by the experiences of the cancer patients he engages with on a daily basis. He is a member of several social and professional associations.
He comes to the Africa Cancer Foundation with the zeal to help improve health services to fellow Africans and sees the Foundation as the best platform for this.
